Is quite a lot of time i dont open a my own topic for something, so lately i'm working pretty much on javas trying to get new stuff to slrr, here a list of the stuff i already did:

Camera key binding:

7___Random camera tilt(from ~10° to ~35° random, left and right switches everytime you press the button)
8___Camera tilt - (up to 92°, i know is weird but i couldnt set it up to go to 90°)
9___Camera tilt + (as above)
0___Reset camera tilt

Extra key binding:

F6___Quick repair
F7___In-Track garage(still needs fine tuning tool) - Fine tuning tool added
F8___Get random car(i think i'll remove this) - Removed
P___Car coordinates(for track makers, it pause and show precise position and rotation coordinates)
N___Show/hide minimap
L___Car lights switch
T___Time switch(+1h)
Npad*___music volume +
Npad/___music volume -

Others:

New 16:9 native resolutions
Shadow resolution up to 4096
View distance up to 10km
Increased LOD detail/distance(now you can see trees and poles farther)
New main menu osd + custom car + custom environment
New garage osd
RGB/HSV color picker
Customizable color palette(allows to save and load custom palettes, included original slrr painter palette, original slrr cars colors, BB93 500+ color mod, Davidov + Diego + Franco + Other modders palette)
Camera shutter sound when pressing F12
New parts drawer with 19*2 slots(2 rows per page)
New decal drawer with 8 slots
Added 22 custom car slots on test track(named TT_ + number from 1 to 22)
"Driftizzler"(it makes your car be slidey as typical arcade games as InitialD, Wangan Midnight, etc.)
Custom theme(in progress)
New tyres catalog(separated for size as for rims)
Less fog on tracks(the max fog amount is based off max view distance)
Anti-Crash system on dealers(prevent crashes for badly compiled VTs)
New delete car button(inside options dialog)
New delete paintjob button(as above)
Moved delete car in options dialog
New traffic cars and fake racers
Max traffic up to 3.3 times the old maximum
New trees models
New poles models
New palms models
New Valo City textures


I'd like to get some comments on this stuff(if you like it or not, and eventually what would you change).

LOL! I was doing the same thing! I was done shadows but Im working on texture size LOL

Added 12 minutes later:

Shadow res that im using is 8192 and I tried 32768 and it did not work so i guess these are the limits :))

Sadly there's a java which limit the usage of ram from slrr, i have it but it is for 2.1.9b(or something like that), so i cant extend virtual ram(and that would resolve all or almost all lags).
I dont think you really need shadows over 4096, neither crysis 3 has bigger than this lol

as for what it say in the menu? it is useless, just replace original textures with yours, only thing is that you must fit new textures to originals(stretch them etc with ps)

Great idea with the camera tilt.

If you could make some sort of key bindings to have some moving cameras for cinematic video shots, that'd be great.

Preferably compatible with Diego's Stage 2.
