I would like to learn how to make custom body panels off a base part I have some experience with designing programs such as 3ds max c4d and photoshop but id like to make say a cowl hood bigger then the regular lets say 2 cowl inch hood

Added 5 minutes later:

because instead of playing with the motor position you could have a better looking hood

Why waste so much time modeling that when you could use a moveable parts script to just move the engine down a bit?

You need to have the original max sources for that car. Otherwise you can never get the position/scale/color right. I'm pretty sure Harrison is already planning to make more custom hoods for the V2 Fox body.
