Apologies if whatever I'm doing wrong seems noobish, but I really can't tell what I'm doing wrong.

I'm trying to turn the scoop from the Pro Stock Camaro into a standalone part. I've used the RPK Creator & I believe I've set up the data folder correctly, however I cannot seem to get the part to show up in game.

I've attached the files I think I need to change & any help is appreciated, thanks

Use this for your java file


Also at the very bottom of your rpk delete the "sl" in the file directory.

Thanks Defiant, its now in the catalog, would I then need to add a slot onto the car's hood for this to attach - I want it on top of a cowl induction hood on another car - and if so, what would I type? I'm somewhat familiar with adding slots & adjusting positions, but I'm not sure which slot this takes up

Yeah you would need to add a slot in the cfg for the hood and also create a matching attach id in the cfg of the scoop. I would personally just put a wing slot in the cfg so it could attach to any car.

That works, just two more things I need sorry, how do I make it paintable & why can't I move it with the adjustable parts scripts? I know I can do it in cfg but it seems a bit of a hassle to have to do that for every car I want to put it on

oh my fault the java code I posted should've said: import java.game.parts.bodypart.*;


to make a part paintable it needs to be set that way in a 3d program first.
