Don't quit your stuff, as in what stuff you actually want to do; 2.2.5 may be buggy, but it's the best game version we currently have that works and isn't just mods thrown on a game and Speed Dreaming is also a good project to work on.

Anyway, what new things do you intend to do?

Don't quit? Give me a 1 good reason.

And when you ask what stuff do you mean by "New things"? More shitty projects I won't complete, or something for one of my current projects?
Shoot me.

A few things I have learned over the years:
Don't ever feel like you HAVE to keep working on something.
The goal, is that working on something is fun, and not tiresome. You don't want to feel that you are obligated to finish it.

Also, don't let people's negativity get to you.
I remember that when FLED first sent me his 3d models so that I could add onto it, that someone from VStanced PMed me here on GOM. (I won't name names.)
He had not posted on GOM in over a year, and he PMed me saying, and I quote:
"Old modders respect MF_Fled a lot and how you can see, nobody had the guts for editing those engines, if you aren't going to do it with high quality better don't do it." and "And you can't just say "I am going to make good modifications for the engine." when you asked to someone else to do the RPK of your Infiniti because you don't know how to do it and that is basically do the whole mod for you and you think you can do something good with that engine? good luck with that."
At the end of our PMs, he basically said that he would be working on adding parts also.

You can't intimidate me that easy, bro.

He was trying to talk me out of it, and he did not even know who I was! He also wanted the 3d models for the engine pack. (I directed him back to FLED for those.)
In the end, I did not let his negative comments get to me. Those 3d models FLED sent helped me to learn how to 3d model, and the engine pack is now my best mod. :)

Okay.

Your game version brings together all of what was needed in SLRR.

And yes I meant for your existing projects, because if you keep on starting and not finishing, you have many that populate your hard drive unfinished in varying states. You should, if you don't quit, work on only the ones you want to do, until they're finished, then you could start new projects.

Anyway it's your choice, continue if you want?

I'm going to say this: SLRR may be a f**ked up game and it can trow you down when you try to do something new(happens to me a lot of times), but our work to make it a better game is what makes SLRR alive, and at the end it's a good game... When the game is trying to trow you down take a pause take a coffee(if you like coffee), take a long breath and do it again, till you get what you want... Don't let SLRR or some community members throw you down. Show to SLRR or those members you are better than them and finish it. You won't have a better pleasure than saying and showing you did what you wanted to do. Head up with your progress, I see a lot of potential in this game version. So head up breath in and go ahead to it, and don't give up from it.

I never said it had to do with the negativity. I've done game development for what, 2-3 years, and what I have I accomplished? Absolutely fucking nothing aside from disappoint everyone by dropping, reviving shit, and making low poly models that look like ass.

With the way I treat it, I see my career going nowhere, and I don't see a point in continuing if I'm just going to hype up some huge idea, make like 3 fucking models in a time period of about 3-4 months, and then cancel, and reopen it to do the same exact damn thing. It's an endless cycle of procrastination, and laziness, and hell, even if you want go ahead and close or delete any of my threads for my games. I'm 2 steps away from dropping away the shit I've done, and been proud of for my entire career that I did absolutely nothing with.
Shoot me.

Well, that is your decision.
You have to do what you feel you have to.
