What is the error message you are getting?
I have been reworking this engine pack for some time now (for my own use only) and have had good results. I have written new java files for several of the engines (the ones I use the most) like GM 500, '63 Vette 327, and the smaller engines (283 -307), just re-scripting and some new textures. All are working well for me.. if you can post your error log message, may be able to help you.

Stevo2, once you are done, you should consider releasing the java files.
People have wanted them for years, and FLED lost the original ones.

@Fireful0,
I've already been asked by several people to release the javas, but in all fairness I couldn't do that without FLED's permission as they are his models.
If I obtained FLED's permission to release my re-scripted/re-textured version, I would most likely release the engines separately, as opposed to being in a pack.

I will also add, my javas are not based on 'stock-game' engines (i.e. MC-GTLE) but are written using original Chevrolet (and Cadillac) data... all internal dimensions: Bore, stroke, rod length, deck height, cam profiles, etc. are factory specs, so the engines have a more realistic specification than original.
The Alloy heads fitted to the Caddy 500 engine I have pictured above are actually available to buy, as with the 4.6 inch stroker crank (taking it to 534cui).. off the shelf today (albeit very expensive).

Well, then you should ask FLED! :D
Your contribution would be much appreciated by us muscle car people. :))

Yes, you are right... I will drop him a line and see what he says ;)
btw, I was told that copies of the original javas are in the possession of someone who posts on this site, but he was asked not to give them out... with that in mind, I'm not optimistic about FLED granting permission for me to release my version.. but I will ask him.

Interesting...
FLED is usually free with giving his 3d and javas out, since he is not in SLRR much anymore.

That's what I'm hoping ;) The info I posted is only what I've been told (and read) here on the forum, but that could just be that the person holding them now doesn't want to release them, i.e. not necessarily FLED's instruction.
Whatever, I will contact FLED directly and ask him myself as I am not asking for the java's he no longer has, but merely permission to re-release some of his models with my scripting.
