Hi,

Can someone please help?!?!?!?!

I have spent hours and hours trying to resolve this.

Firstly the editor used to work perfect for me, then out of the blue it stopped.

When i select the engines i want on the car i would like them to go into and click save it appears to have saved. I click back and return to the same car to find... it hasn't. I have tried the editor on different versions of Street Legal all with the same result. Which makes me think it cant be mods thats stopped it from working because even on a vanilla street legal it has the same results.

Im running windows 10 (turned firewall off)
Ran as admin
Tried running in different compatibility modes all to no avail.

Please bare in mind this awesome little tool has worked fine for me for years... then suddenly....nothing.

Please help!!!!!

Have you tried deleting it from your main folder and unzipping a fresh download of it there? file may have become corrupted with a Win 10 update.

Edit: Jfernando1 beat me to it, lol but yeah.. same as he said.

(btw, I wouldn't recommend turning your firewall off... simply make an exception for the game in firewall settings)

Hi, when i click either one of the "resconvert" or "resdecode" files they dont do anything. Is that normal? The firewall was just to rule that out, thanks for the advice though. The last windows update was last month as i had that thought too. and the editor was working yesterday morning, then just stopped. On all versions of SLR

Yes, that's normal.. those files are used by 'Resource converter' which is the user interface for them.

It won't.. 'Resource converter' opens those (I think you can also use them via command prompt but I don't use that way).

Added 3 minutes later:

Try as suggested earlier, delete those 2 and SLRReditor2.. then download a fresh copy of SLRReditor2 and decompress it in your main game folder, that will then give you a fresh copy of all 3 programs just in case one of them was corrupted.

I can't diagnose from here as I don't use Win 10 for gaming (Win 7 far better), I can only suggest (as you say that it's doing the same on several versions of SLRR, so it must be a Windows or driver issue)you can add the engines to the cars manually .. that will work.
