Thanks for the love guys. I do plan to daily drive this, it's nearly stock and so clean I don't doubt the reliability.

Future plans:

HX35 with .55 A/R BEP housing
FIC 850's
VRSF short route kit
L19 head studs
straight pipe exhaust etc..
I have a EPROM ecu, so I'm getting it socketed and as soon as I pick up a laptop I'll run ecmlink on this so I can get some tuning options.

Right now it's got some year old gas in it and doesn't like building boost but it's insured and should be road legal very soon.

Added 4 hours later:

Took some pics after cleaning it up a little

I browsed local classifieds for several weeks until I found this one. There were some others but had too much rust for my liking.

Nice find. I've been looking around craigslist and the like, but none of them are nearly as nice.

Finding a clean one is near impossible now but they're out there. Too many people part them out and crush them because the motor blew or something easy like that.. all I can say is browse craigslist several times a day, everyday, you'll find one. This one took a LOT of time and I drove pretty far to get it but it was worth it.

The only car I would want is a Volvo 850r. but yeah, that car is pretty sweet, nice find!

What do you like most about the 850r? I don't think the R made it into the U.S., I'm probably wrong though.

I don't know about the car much, I just want a turbo wagon. Maybe the 760 or 740 would be a better choice, since they are RWD. I find the volvos to be nice looking for some reason. I guess I'm more of a sleeper/ratrod guy than a fiberglass bodykit with a 2 foot tall spoiler.

I can see the appeal, what about the S4 avant?

They make easy horsepower and can be RWD converted.

Like I said, I'd drive that in an instant. Who looks at a wagon and says "must be a 2jz, right?"
