so this is what i had a blue 300zx na

and a year later on the highway going home the engine went bang for some unexplained reason soooo this is how i spent my winter in the parking lot of a apartment complex lol

as i was doing the swap i notice big rusted holes in the frame so that zx ended up being sold a few months later then i bought this (did not have pics of when first bought only after i modded it)

i finally found the rust free zx of my dreams a 92 twin turbo 300zx and the list of stuff i did is this....

the massive front mount

cusco racing coilovers

xxr 18in aluminum wheels (in the finish i really wanted)

greddy 3in true dual exhaust to greddy mufflers with nice 4in tips (super cop friendly)

hks ss bov's (cuz 2 of everything is just how zx work)

mishimoto full aluminum radiator (that didnt want to let my hood shut right ug)

megan racing tie rod ends

drilled and slotted front rotors

hard intercooler pipes

a earl's racing oil cooler

garrett 48trim turbo's

megan racing downpipes

and strut bars cause i can

looked somthing like this

then as i was cruising along heard a loud bang under the car (a rock) and then the oil pressure took a massive loss and boom spun a rod bearing b4 i could even turn it off found out that rock hit my oil pan and smashed the oil pickup sooo now the project begins the revival of my dream car starts now :)

I normally wouldn't go with 300zxs because of the different look it has to it but now these pics are making me second thoughts, I hope that this is successful, nice work on it (P.S I'm sorry, that was my rock)

congrats on finding a better car and not trying to deal with rust. i hate rust.

i have to admit though, that engine bay looks like i would want to commit suicide trying to work on anything there. looks like a total mess and a nightmere. infact thats probably the worst thing i've ever seen.

but more power to you man, i think they are cool cars.

if u see scratches its very unlikely the crank can just be polished and reused. i wish u luck though

If they don't catch the nail it should be fine. Also my buddy had a non turbo one of these and I can confirm they are tight to work on.
