Lucky for me the vg30dett shares many parts with the rb25det thats why i choose this engine over the rb26det. And for transmission im going to have a hybrid rb25 bellhousing with a vg30 trans. Eliminating the need for custom driveshaft, trans brackets, ect. Il prolly use cp pistons acl rod and mains bearings with arp headstuds. The plan is a top mount turbo 60-70mm with a external wastegate with a cut out threw the fender for a screamer pipe. Interior will be minimal with momo (or other brand) steering wheel with sparco, recaro, tenzo ect seats. Cut out the spare tire well for a single sheet of steel to reduce weight and keep some dash parts and trimmings. The engine came with 650cc injectors from previous owner. Also came with a new fidenza light weight flywheel so im prolly gonna be using a act or clutchmaster six puck kevlar clutch. Im sure il think of more things later but i want to make it stand out amongst the 300zx crowd. For the other parts that are not shared i will ether ask my z or sx buddys or just order them threw a couple of websites i aready use to source zx parts.

One question though, do you plan to increase the size from 2.5L to 3.0L at the inline-6 as the original Vee-6 engine has for a displacement?
In need of fixing small things on mods? You´re welcome!

I will be leaving it a 2.5 i know il lose torque because of this but im not needing another torque based engine. The rb25 will provide plenty of power and its shorter rods will be just fine shorter stroke will have its benefits. But i am going to beef it up just incase i want more power later. And i am shaving about 1k pounds off this zx. The final weight shall be around 2600 pounds possibly more if possible. And the engine bay space the rb25 will give me is more then enough reason to pull that vg30 out lol.

Well the red chassis has become spare parts for the nice new 108k rust free one i got so this project has changed directions. lol i finally have returned and slowed down on my 14 hour shifts so my projects will get the much needed attention. Il post pics later and update any progress made.
