As I already told, I'm not sure if I should continue development or not as it is kinda complicated and difficult work. I'm thinking about it right now.

What about cars list, I think it's the least of problems :D Anyway, it would primarily contain mostly oldschool and classic cars like e34, Skyline R32, Toyota chaser 80', maybe Subaru Impreza and so on.

Btw I changed my mind about ripped car models and if it happens so that I decide to continue work, I would use some third-party car models. But I would still have to model engines, and I can surely say that I'm not going to model exact copies of real engines because it is extremely time-consuming and tedious. I would just create common engine types, such as inline 4, inline 6, V6, V8, and some tuning parts for them and a lot of parameters adjustment (like ignition timing adjustment in this demo).

Don't even think about giving up lol, of course it's hard, wouldn't be a challenge if it was easy, which life is all about. But have you ever considered talking to modders and asking to use their engines in game, like Defiant, BB93 and what not?

Thanks everyone for the replies and good wishes. Now I'm starting to work on the complete game. All the progress will be shown in this thread. Don't expect for update everyday, but I promise to write down about all the progress. It's really hard work but I'm not going to give up on half a way like Street Tuning Evolution developers did. Or like any other slr-remake developer :D. My personal life and my job won't be an obstacle for development, just like it wasn't while development of this unity asset.

Okay that's kinda good idea. But I'm not sure if there is any way to convert engines from slrr to 3Ds max? Or should I ask authors of engines for their source .max scenes? I'm not aware of that because I know nothing about slrr modding.

well I'm thinking about that, the most likely the game WILL be ported to ios and android, due to unity fully supporting these platforms. But PC version will be the first (if it ever releases haha).
