Hey guys, it's Redline. So I was poking around the old forum and did not see any mention of a called Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. Its a great modern interpretation of being a virtual mechanic.

Nothing will in my opinion will change how I feel about SLRR but I think a lot of you guys would agree this company is making a very worthy game and who knows how far they will take it.

Link to the Steam page for you guys.

Random game play vid here. Not sure if this guy is any good as my volume is not working but I think this will make a good example video.

I agree it is a Good Game with so much potential but it gets boring really quick...I've built Muscle car with a swapped engine and it has no grip whatsoever "basically it's undrivable."

Yes..There is only a test track and drag and action(same like GeaRhead Garage but in this GearHead Garage there isn´t any test or drag track) only one specific track.. lets just say no free roam

Added 4 minutes later:

on somepoint i agree with nsomniaredline

the game has a great potential and maybe will get far.. just there should be something more..not only build and drive..

in slrr you can do crasy stuff and you enjoy building it up again..

maybe off-topic but:RAXAT added in the 2.3.1 some events like drift and derby.. i so enjoy it.. but in the
Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 it doesnt have any mod support(maybe there is,i dont know)

Exactly guys, this is why I always come back to this community. For the most part its a pleasant experience posting something that not many are discussing. Let me lay it all out for you guys.

A few years back I posted about how I really enjoyed paying Moto4max and 4x4 Hummer. And I was equally shocked then to see no one talking about those games as I am today with CMS2015. I used to know the owner of this site Singh or maybe he was just the figure head (Long time dont recall) But He was a cool guy and he showed me how this community was that of gear heads. And in all honesty I see that today where you have many more games represented now. Freaking Kudos!

However I saw this thing and most the posts I see are cleaned up and locked tight so we wont get it to it... But it was an awesome game in the making that failed to gain traction. YOU KNOW THE ONE. Anyhow the reason why this die hard community worked so hard for that project was because guys... Guys seriously I bought Slr new at Walmart when they both came out. I played the hell out of them back before mods were a thing. Lets be honest about this. Its super old school now. Gamer's I applaud you and your efforts to breathing life back in to a stubborn horse. At what point do we start looking to the future. I almost cant run Slr anymore because my computer is so fast and new.

Here is my point. Along comes this game Car Mechanic Simulator. And it has so much potential.. Like another game we know did in its day (SLR). It has Mod support out of the box. And I am just Shocked that this community is not jumping on this wagon to build this game a better tomorrow. Perhaps we don't have the talent for it. I see amazing work here but is any of it really next Gen quality? I don't know because I didn't even see one post about this game. Just its predecessor CMS2014.

Is this game boring? Sure it can be. They are a small emerging company. Its clear that despite the fact that they have shiny new tech, They cut as many corners as they could. I have a high respect for all of you people because I do nothing by comparison. Here is an opportunity folks to make a new car. Port something in. Add new engines. Its gonna be a pain but the developers are really pro modification types and would probably be taken back by this communities creativity and abilities. Is this not how SLR started?

Anyway food for thought here people. Not saying that SLR is bad or done. However it would be fun to see all that we have made SLR as a community come to another game like CMS2015. It would be really nice just to see any quality mods show up for the game tho really. And then it wouldn't be so boring. Thanks for your thoughts guys anyone want to comment please do, I am open for discussion on this.

Also Real quick Singh if your out there homie, miss playing forza with you. Its your boy Redline. I may have deleted you when I went off line for a grip or maybe you did. Anyway Keep up the good work here.

I have seen stuff about Car Mechanic Simulator.
All in all, it looks like a great game.
It is a bit graphics intensive, as my computer could not run the demo very well.
There are a few problems, though.

#1. Everything is Steam.

Now, some people see this as a plus, but it limits you to how much you can do.
Like, how you could not put it on a USB Flash Drive without the Steam DRM going off.

#2. The price.

SLRR is free, so it will be somewhat more popular. :D

#3. The maps.
Whereas SLRR is limitless in maps, Car Mechanic Simulator has 1 map.
I want a city map, or something cool!

Now, don't get me wrong, Car Mechanic Simulator still looks like a great project, and I am sure the community could make some awesome mods for it, just like they made and continue to make for SLRR, but for now, SLRR has some stuff that Car Mechanic Simulator does not have.
And, Car Mechanic Simulator has some stuff that SLRR does not have!
I mean, the GUI in Car Mechanic Simulator is awesome, and it looks like it would be a ton easier to build cars!

Does this mean I will never buy Car Mechanic Simulator?
Not at all!
I am just going to wait until they get better in their content. ;)

Very nice in assessment. I agree I could have never played this game if I didn't build a computer to do so. I was hoping for more out of the game aswell. People have started to create maps for it but they are pretty basic. The price point I can't argue with. Free sounds a lot better then paying 19 bucks. But let me tell you friend, I have a feeling about this game. Think it's gonna be something if just the right people start checking it out.

Right now the game is still new and like us people look at it and see potential but no really big things are being done. People won't devote time if they think it's not going to go anywhere. And right now people feel this way. Thanks for the reply.

fireful0 post

actually i think you are wrong and right about the maps.. i have seen BlackPanthaa playing this and i have seen a test track and drag track
That means there is 2 maps but they have the same universe

about the SLRR .yes we have limitless maps and we can to more and more and more.. and its free roam

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 it has only one route you HAVE to Drive :D

I AGREE with the STEAM thing.. you can buy it but you can not Make a backup..
actually we can if someone knows how to crack it :D
