I love slrr and i would love to make mods for this game.
Ive made mods before, i am very familiar with blender and things like that, but i do now know how modding works for slrr.
Ive made cars for BeamNG and i would like to try to make cars for slrr.
Could i have a small explanation/list of tools that i need and things such as those which will help me get started with modding on slrr?

Quick question. do all the separated parts of a vehicle need to have their location set or do i just export the model in the scx format and everything is done automatically?
Sorry if you dont know what i mean, im not that great at explaining, but the easiest way of saying it is when you press ctrl+a in blender it will "apply" the objects location, rotation or scale.
In beamng i reset everything when im done since weird things happen if i dont, is it the same for slrr?
well i dont mod but if you go and looks at the car files as you see all parts are separated.

I know they are all separated but their location is what i meant tho.

You have quite a few things.
A: how the scx global and model center work
B: how the part cfg determines it's Center of gravity (literally just has a special box with defined mass and location separate from the model)
C:how the part connects from one slot to another
D: if it can connect to the slot depending on the order of assembly (like not being able to place a window where there is not a door)
