SLR:R Drag Competition.

Started; 02.08.17

Ends; 09.09.17

Limitations:

Each vehicle can use any set of tires, but those tires are not allowed to exceed 15 in width.

You may choose any set of body panels within any mod, but you may not remove more than five body panels, including the hood. There must at least be doors, an engine bay (where applicable), a trunk and floor pan.

There must not be more than 800 horsepower in each car.

No work in progress/not released cars or parts are allowed, meaning anyone can achieve the same time with the correct parts and mods.

Each entry must have a 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile time. There can be a winner in each of these distances. They must also list the parts within, such as engine, rims, tires and the dyno page.

NOS is not allowed.

Tuning between each distance is allowed, as long as the parts stay the same, and it stays under 800HP.

Logic Rules:

Each person is allowed up to three entries.

Only actual in-game tuning is allowed. You are not allowed to change the scripts of any of the parts; Car, Engine, Suspension and Tires. No Java editing allowed.

The only dyno allowed is Gorgoil's Dyno.

The only maps allowed for 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile times are the Drag Strip Race Mod's map and Topeka Park.

Crank horse power is the amount of horsepower (or whatever comes out of the dyno page, which is crank horse power).

Each entry must pertain to all of the limitations per entry.

(Acceptable) Example Entry:

Maximum Horsepower: 1HP at 2000RPM

Maximum Torque: 3FT-LBS at 2000RPM

Engine: LS1

1/4: *Didn't make it.*

1/2: *If it could make 1/4, what did you expect?*

So restriction is 800hp on wheels or on crank?

Also, is adjusting the engine position within the engine bay acceptable? Because most of the cars are wonky when it comes to different engine blocks and such.

The output from the Dyno page, so most likely crank. Also I have made a modified version of your (Gorgoil's) Dyno, that allows for the other pages, and all of their information that comes with them, from the standard game. I plan to maybe release it, may if Gorgoil?

Added 5 minutes later:

By the way, forgot to put when it ends. It now reads:

Ends; 09.09.17

As it shall end in a month. There be many entries for me to have to read and turn into an excel document by the end of this.

the output from my dyno is the real horse power on crank, and not like horse power on wheels! Original horse power calculation is wrong, and mine take consideration torque(the real way of calculation)

Okay. Wow I've had to fix my opening statement for this competition about four times now.

Yes that is perfectly acceptable, as long as it's done in-game using the scripts to move it using the oil pan.

Does anyone want to put up an entry, or is their more we must fix with the guidelines?

Ehh. So 1/2 mile and 1 mile passes are mandatory, huh? Is it also mandatory to have the same gear ratios and parts as 1/4 and 1/8 miles pass? Because a lot of my 1/4 cars do have relatively low top speed, considering the goal to have the best time at the quartermile.
