Whats up guys, I've been out of the game for awhile but some may remember me. I've recently got back into slrr because a friend of mine got into it and asked me to build a stable build for him. I'm running into some issues and could use some help. He wants to progress through the career like normal with modded cars. I've only put a few quality mods in to make this possible and have tested the cars and engines quite vigorously to make sure they won't crash his game.

Here's my problem... Everything in the city is working fine except every now and again in night street races it will put me up to an opponent who never spawns in. It goes through the whole cut of rotating around the player car but the opponents car isn't there. When it's finished rotating the camera the game crashes. Is there any way around this to ensure that the game loads an opponent and the game doesn't crash. I've never run into this problem before with one of my builds (just over spawning of a certain car) so I'm not quite sure what to do.

He's using Diegos Slrr 2011 Compilation.

I've got the same problem, so i'm just remembering the opponents that spawn "blank" car and avoid them. I'm guessing that this is the side-product of a sloppy scripting, and caused by one of the mods installed, but i'm not a modmaker and can't really say any more.
There's one more solution to this, not considering fixing the mod that causes this, so. I've usually been able to figure out which mods causes the problem, and before i'd start a new career, i removed .rpk of all cars that were causing blank car to spawn, so that car will never count as a vehicle that could've been used by an opponent. But that required way too much time, so now i'm just avoiding them whenever i'll start a new save file.

If I could find the problem cars I would take them out but when they come up on the race list its all just original Slr car names and not what I'm actually going to race against. I've checked the error log and nothing there specifies which car is giving me issues

Well, i've figured out that in .cfg files or java the name of original SLRR car on which the scripts are based still should pop up somewhere. And based on that i've tracked those that caused the glitch to happen.

Ah, it's nothing. I've just thought i'd insert my 5 cents since i've encoutered that problem as well. Hope that it'll be somewhat fixed in the future, like the left-side drag.
