Hm... What I'm thinking of doing if I don't end up scaling it down (though I probably will scale it down anyway) is to create a set of tires in between the standard 19" slicks and 19" road tires in size, which will make the wheels work better visually. Super-thin tires make the wheels look tiny.

Of course, for some reason everyone prefers wheels that are too small in SLRR anyway, probably because of the whole stance thing - so yeah, I might just scale it so that 18" wheels will fit the same as 19" wheels fit currently.

@ Turbozz:
I figured the Australian GOM members would be happy I'm doing this :-D (Though I am surprised that you're the only one to post yet...) Thanks for the offer about the pictures. Right now I don't need any pics of anything, but if I need pictures and I can't find them on the internet anywhere, I'll be sure to ask you. Also, that's really cool that you have a real HSV!

UPDATE: Re-scaled the car - it is now 2% smaller, and looks better in comparison to the wheels and to other cars. I forgot to take a pic from the side, sorry. Also finished most of the HSV rear parts, most of the light glows, and some of the badging.

HSV front and rear parts, showing the glows at night. Fog light glows and quarter panel (turn signal) glows not done yet.

Pics of the HSV rear bumper / lights / spoiler during the day.

G8 spoiler.

Light-glows on G8. Front bumper / quarter panel glows not done yet.

Small teaser:

This is just one of several things that have been made for the car recently. I am currently working with dG.Cyanide on creating more parts for the car. Other things I have done are the V8 Supercars front bumper and rear wing, and the regular Commodore SS grille as well as a Middle Eastern Chevrolet grille and rear badge.

More pics!

FYI: dG.Cyanide has offered to help me with the project.

HSV GTS E3 front bumper and rear wing, converted from FM4 by Joealex. Rear bumper coming soon. Also shows carbon fiber hood, interchangeable badges, and hood addon bits that are interchangeable. Turbozz should be very happy about this :-D Also note that the wheels here are the W427 wheels. GTS wheels will be here too eventually.

Again, rear bumper not done yet; neither are badges. Note the chrome trim on the trunk; this is a custom trunk.

V8 Supercars front bumper and grille. This has been done for a while, but I haven't gotten around to taking pics of it. Regular Commodore SS front bumper will be based off of this one. Rear bumper again not done yet. Note the wing in the background.

Chevrolet Lumina (Middle East) grille.

Chevy rear badge.

Other things that have gotten done but aren't in pictures yet: The interior has been re-done so that it is recolorable by exchanging textures; Holden, Chevy, and HSV steering wheels (the Pontiac one used to be the only one); and the G8 GXP wheels have been imported too.

I think the grill needs a bit more reworking, but all in all looks pretty epic man, your gonna have to send me the new file soon so I can test it in game for any bugs and such.
