Complete rescript for Mihon's Devils V8 engine. New scripts, sounds, and a few visual edits by Harrison15. Much more usable in general, and includes RPKs for 2.3.0LE and 2.2.1MWM. This was done unofficially, so if Mihon objects, I will take this down.
The turbos are still ridiculously powerful, but if you have problems, turn down the boost.
Also, the archive is huge because there are six sound sets, as well as turbo and supercharger sounds. Click the exhaust headers with the tuning tool to switch the sound file. File is 24MB.
I uploaded this before being unavailable for a week, so this is a BETA as of July 5.
Well I got fed up the the Magnum Force GM V8 not having all the parts available, so i decided to fix it. Handwrote/fixed all the incorrect superID's, now all the parts are usable, aswell as all the unusable engines being usable now too. If the MF team thinks i should take it down I will, otherwise: ENJOY
(Also, my first release mod too, let me know what you think
(PPS its a mediafire link too)
Intro - These java's can be used a template to create OHV V8 engines in SLRR. SLRR never originally came with OHV Engines, but are coded to support them,
though no public java's have been available.
How to use:
Each java is a sample of an OHV part.
Replace any "XXX" with desired input.
Extra Non-Functioning parts:
Example: Alternator, starter, timing cover, valve cover, accessories drive belt etc.
There are two ways to code these, either as an "Engine Part" or an "Exhaust Pipe."
Both react the same ingame, and do not add any performance.
"Exhaust Pipe" may be more desirable, because if you already have an adjustable exhaust pipe script, you will be able to move these parts aswell.
Slot ID's MUST MATCH between the java and the cfg file for the part. If they do not errors may occur.
Turbocharger & Supercharger scripts are not included, as they are not unique to the type of motor. Any sample from SLRR 2.2.1 java's should work.
The third version of the Mopar V8 pack by MagnumForce Team! New scripts, modified sounds, new sounds for superchargers (yes, they are now whistling ), new textures for the 383 block, and new scripts for the cars. Added Paxton supercharger and all the necessary components, and a new pair of intake systems for big blocks. Added 400 and 318 blocks. Most textures are in the .DDS format now. The position of parts is now in an orderly fashion within the catalog.
Also in the pack are 7 fixes for the cars.
Thanks for viewing the Chrysler V8 Pack V4.0 REBOOT (BETA) by me, Fireful0!
In case you are wondering, this will replace the original Chrysler V8 Pack files in /yourslrrdirectory/parts/engines
Don't worry, though. All of the old parts by MF_TEAM are still there.
This pack adds new parts to one of the best engine packs for SLRR,
and also allows carburetors and transmissions to be tunable!
Don't expect everything to be perfect, as it is still in beta.
Thanks to the following people for making this pack possible:
MF_FLED (for javas and 3d)
Defiant (for some help and 3d)
Locomanusa (for awesome pictures)
CuPcaKe_Drifting (for some great 3d that was never included)
Burn Rubber (Alpha tester)
Racedriver43 (Alpha tester)
Zeprarex (Alpha tester)
cameronseren (Alpha tester)
V4.0 = Main Release
V4.1 = Fix issue with carburetor location on dual quad intake
V4.2 = Fixed crashing problem with people using 2.2.1LE2MWM (Special thanks to Colorage79 for sending me his game version to fix this problem!)
Several comma-separated tags will be considered as logical AND between them. You can also use semicolon for logical OR. AND has a priority over OR and you cannot use parentheses for logical grouping. Asterisk (*) within a tag will be regarded as a mask for "any string".
