Hi fellow scripters!!! Here in this tutorial i'll teach you how to add really nice looking analogue gauge to your fav ride to make you enjoy it even more :)

IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE RESDECODE & RESCONVERT THEN DO NOT EVEN BOTHER READING THIS TUTORIAL.
--------------------------------------------------------------|
This tutorial has been written in the simplest explanation ever known to human being so i hope you'll understand ;)

Please download THIS FILE before taking any further steps.

Step 1. Resdecode your vehicles.rpk

-Choose your vehicle's .RPK file and resdecode it

-Open .RDB and scroll it down to the end (hold Page Down) and minimize it

--------------------------------------------------------------|

Step 2. Adding Gauge mesh and texture to your .RDB

-Extract Analogue_Gauge.rar and open the Analogue Gauge Folder

-Open OSD-RDB file and Rename every "YOURCAR_data" URL to the name of your car (example: CarreraGT_data) and save it

-Now copy all the stuff from the OSD-RDB to your vehicles .RDB and save it

-Resconvert and put .RPK into cars/racers folder

--------------------------------------------------------------|

Step 3. Adding Gauge script to your vehicles main.CFG file

-Locate your cars _main_ .CFG file, open and minimize it

-Now open OSD-CFG file from Analogue Gauge Folder and copy all the stuff for your resolution and paste into your cars _main_
.CFG
( paste it under "cockpit_rpm -0.XXX 0.XXX -0.XXX" )

--------------------------------------------------------------|

Step 4. Copying Meshes and Textures to your folder

-Now open Analogue Gauge folder and copy "meshes" and "textures" folders and paste them into your cars folder (examples:
Baiern_data)

-It's all done, now run the game and enjoy your new analogue gauge:)

@ CJ and UploadedMac: Yeah, it's not in the Frontend folder - that's mostly stuff for the garage. Also, yeah, the MESHES and TEXTURES for the gauges are in the Cars folder under Meshes and Textures, but there isn't a CFG to edit anywhere. This is why I can't find out how to edit the standard gauge.
