How to make cars have more engines

Editing Script Style

Gniazdo : you need car *.rpk and _main_* (somethings like this "Baiern.RPK" and "_main_CoupeSport_GT_III.CFG") and you need to convert *.RPK to *.RDB...

open *.RDB in notepad:

on the top you will see

cars
carsracers
parts
sound
particles
parts engines Baiern_Emer
parts engines Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer
</FILE>

put this "cars racers Mustang68" on the botom
NOTE: Or any engine.RPK i.e. parts engines MC_Prime_SuperDuty

cars
carsracers
parts
sound
particles
parts engines Baiern_Emer
parts engines Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer
carsracersMustang68
</FILE>

and now wath this,
DONT WROTE THIS IN RDB

system X = 1
cars X = 2
carsracers X = 3
parts X = 4
sound X = 5
particles X = 6
parts engines Baiern_Emer X = 7
parts engines Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer X = 8
cars racers Mustang68 X = 9

now save changes and reconvert *.RDB to *.RPK

go to te _main_*.cfg

find slot "401" and you will se something like that:


slot -0.007 -0.523 -1.397 0.000 0.000 0.000 401
attach 0x00070041 1
attach 0x00070052 1
attach 0x0007007E 1
attach 0x0007007F 1
slotdmgmode 0x00000008
slotdeform 0.000

put this "attach 0x000X0D51 17"on the bootom of "attach"

slot -0.007 -0.523 -1.397 0.000 0.000 0.000 401
attach 0x00070041 1
attach 0x00070052 1
attach 0x0007007E 1
attach 0x0007007F 1
attach 0x000X0D51 17
slotdmgmode 0x00000008
slotdeform 0.000

now change X to the number what i wrote on the line which you copy to *.RDB file "carsracersMustang68 X = 9"

and you have

slot -0.007 -0.523 -1.397 0.000 0.000 0.000 401
attach 0x00070041 1
attach 0x00070052 1
attach 0x0007007E 1
attach 0x0007007F 1
attach 0x00090D51 17
slotdmgmode 0x00000008
slotdeform 0.000

now save the _main_*.cfg file and now you can have this engine in this car (and this version of it)

You Can also Use the SPARKY'S EDITING TOOLS: SLRR EDITOR to easily select any car and then enable any engine to it!
